We got so many messages asking for the pedal without all the extras but truth be told, we made the package to help clear out our stock of power supplies and leads while making a decent "crimbo present" offering. We can't really afford to sell it for less than £99...but seeing as so many of you asked....

Future Grunge

Distortion - Treble - Bass and Volume.

Pedal is a combination between a "Rat" and a "Rusty Fuzz" - Starting with a Rat gain stage followed by a "Baxandall" tone stack - separating the bass and treble controls. Finally, the sound is sent into a transistor stage that has been mis-biased to give a "velcro" or "rusty" finish to the tone, giving the overall feel of a "fuzztortion" type blend.

Sits incredibly well in a mix thanks to the Rat type pre-EQ, with the treble and bass controls allowing users to shift the midrange about to taste. Cranking the treble and the bass causes the final velcro stage to exhibit some very unusual biting/snapping/growling tones, while cranking the gain causes the traditional "slew rate" distortion the Rat is famous for, folding the gain in on itself for some serious growl.

All in all a very versatile riff machine for beginners or pro's.

Definitely one to watch as we all grow tired of the same old amp/pedal models and the scruffian losers launch their bid for supremacy once more, at a price where it is likely to find them.
